About Sabrina…
I’m Sabrina and I’m a graphic designer from Las Vegas, Nevada. My passion for art started when I was young and my increasing intrigue for the field inspired me to center my education around it. I’ve just recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in the Graphic Design and Media program!
Currently I’m working towards building my portfolio for potential careers in more illustrative positions or jobs centered around layout design or UI/UX. I have passions in other art fields outside of my degree, like oil painting and photography, and wish to explore more types of art to enjoy, as well!
Outside of school, I enjoy baking, reading and video games. Video games are probbaly my biggest passion, as they have an ability to create escape from the outside world. It is this passion that drives me to find jobs that allow me the opprotinuty to create such joyous games and share that experience with others.
Artist Statement
As an art student, I pride myself on learning new ways to express my creativity and challenge my artistic abilities.
There will always be immense joy in creation, whether illustration, concept design, photography, or simply finding inspiration from others-art is a constant source of love and care. I’ve learned to love myself more in my art and my process and to be more patient and caring for my mind when I stress about illustrating techniques or get frustrated about not enjoying the work.
Whether doing illustrative work, graphic design, or photography, I’ve learned to be more open to that love rather than criticize who I am as an artist. Art as a passion is about expression, guidance, and learning how to love your work and yourself along the way.
